• My blog began as a hobby, something to do since my daughter started high school and didn’t need her mother around so much anymore. I have always enjoyed the writing process so writing a blog filled that interest. My content, based on my journey to be more body positive, has ignited a passion to share my story and hopefully motivate others to learn to love the skin they are in. It has snowballed into an interest to be a motivational speaker and leader of body positive workshops. I want to change how society looks at plus size women and I want these women to know they are worthy and good enough no matter what they look like or what size they are.
• I consider myself still a newbie in the blogging world but my advice to anyone just starting out or thinking about blogging is to write about something you are passionate about. Be true and authentic. Appreciate your followers by reading, liking and commenting on their blogs. Be consistent so your followers know when they can expect a post. Mostly have fun!
