Physical beauty fades with age. Even the most breathtaking beauties will get wrinkles, age spots and saggy skin. No amount of Botox or plastic surgery can hide that stuff forever.
So, don’t worry so much about how you look and whether people will accept you as you are. Don’t worry about a few lumps and bumps, scars or moles, stretch marks or birthmarks. You’re beautiful because of those things but more importantly you have a beautiful heart.
How you treat people, how you live your life, what you say and do, is the true measure of your beauty.
Be Pretty, Plus and Proud and let the goodness inside you, define you and your own kind of beautiful!
Spoken so beautifully 💜

I have a birthmark on the side of my face. It’s never visible because i wear my hair down. I also have really frizzy hair. And even though I’d like to think I’m not wrapped up in the “standards of beauty”, I must admit, I do start to worry about it at times. And then I have to remind myself of this message right here.
And I got my reminder for today, so thank you!
