Have A Good Day!

When you wake up in the morning, it’s already a good day; you’re alive! The rest of the day and what you make of it is up to you.

You can choose to look at the day ahead positively and full of hope. Make choices throughout the day that make you happy. Eat lunch in the sun. Take criticism from the boss as an opportunity to learn. Instead of fighting with the kids to pick up the laundry from the floor, sit down and talk; it won’t be long before they have moved out. Buy yourself flowers if no body else does. Treat yourself with love and respect. Wear clothes that fit well and make you feel beautiful. Splurge on a good haircut every now and then. Take time in your day to be quiet; read before bed, soak in a tub, do a yoga video or meditate to soothing music.  Use your commuter time in the car to listen to your favourite music or a book.

It’s always a choice. Be Pretty, Plus and Proud and choose to have a great day!

Sometimes clinical depression is not a choice and nor is it anyones responsibility. It may be their responsibility to seek help, but it most certainly isn’t due to the lack of trying. Absolutely it feels like a ten ton weight is being dragged around and it is important to keep moving forward. I just wanted to differentiate between that and normal moods. Normal moods and the above article, I wholeheartely agree with. Coming from someone who has had depression, I can tell you now they usually are so pleased to have risen from the pits of perhaps another round in the ring with depression, every day feels great no matter what. Pretty much throw anything at a recovered depression and they will throw it up in the air and juggle 😀 xx https://goo.gl/d6aGTI

I absolutely agree and I apologize for not differentiating between the two. Thank you for your comment and helping my readers and myself to be more aware of how depression is not something you can simply shake off.

I just want to say “THANK YOU” for being such a wonderfully beautiful body positive advocate. Together we can continue to show others that BEAUTY is not based on size and shape and that it’s ok to be imperfect #curvygirlsrock
