Ireland Vacation – Post #6

Onwards we go! The next two scenic spots we went to were without a doubt the most amazing and unusual feats of nature that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

First up was Giant’s Causeway. The large stone rock formations were caused by ancient volcanic eruptions. You can walk for miles amongst the nearby mountain side and enjoy spectacular views of the North Atlantic ocean.

If you are a fan of “Game of Thrones”, you may recognize this next famous landmark of Ireland, “The Dark Hedges”. Overhanging the road are these beautiful trees. Their tall trunks twisted with age are dark, mysterious and almost magical. We arrived near dusk which turned out to be the perfect time to capture the magnificence of these beauties!

Hope you are enjoying this series of travel adventures. I promise we are nearing the end of our journey. Be Pretty, Plus and Proud and please share where you went this past summer holidays. I’d love to know what part of the world you ventured to!
