More Love, Less Hate

I don’t understand people who think hate, violence and intolerance will solve the world’s problems. Why do people feel the need to be the judge and jury for people living different lives than their own? Who has the right to say one way to live is any better than another way to live? Who are we to cast a stone? Is anyone perfect and without sin? We should all be trying to care for our children, enjoy time with friends and family, do our jobs and make a positive impact on anyone who crosses our path. What do you want people to remember you for?

Personally I hope I am remembered for my all-encompassing smile, my kindness, the way I’m trying to spread love to all bodies no matter their size, shape, colour, race, language they speak, where they come from or their sexuality. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone felt this way? Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone shared their resources, if we could travel from country to country without fear, if we could learn from each other rather than killing each other. Orlando is suffering a horrific tragedy; almost unimaginable that someone could have so much hate for a group of people who were causing no harm, weren’t breaking any laws, weren’t causing any trouble.

We need to learn to accept and embrace all people. We must preserve a planet for future generations where everyone coexists in peace and harmony. Put down the guns and raise the flags for peace.

Be Pretty, Plus and Proud and be an example of love in all that you do and in all that you say!
