OOTD#9 and Fashion Tip

Style and comfort don’t always mix well when it comes to fashion. Often in the past, if I wanted to look well put together, it often meant I had to sacrifice being comfortable; not so anymore! Many plus size retailers are now offering clothing choices that fit well, are made of comfortable, breathable fabrics and can be easily put together to be dressed up or down, whatever the occasion.

This top from Addition Elle gets dressed up with some great jewellery statement pieces (necklace and bracelets from Penningtons, earrings from Torrid) . Accessories can add a lot of glamour to an outfit that could be a plain Jane without it!

A cute jacket like this military jacket from Torrid is unique in its style and would look great paired with a nice tank top, black jeggings and ankle boots or heels

I dressed up this black “sweatshirt” (Addition Elle) with a necklace(Forever 21), bracelets (Torrid) and silver hoops (Suzy Shier). The top steps away from the sloppy varsity sweatshirts with a faux leather lace trim on the bottom hem. Paired with destructed jeans (Torrid) and cute booties (Payless), this outfit says, “I’m ready for a night out on the town!”.

Fashion Tip: Be Pretty, Plus and Proud and step out in comfort and style knowing you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. With a little effort and the expanding plus size clothing market, you can be confident you are putting your best self forward!
