How Can You Know You’re Beautiful?

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly if you could see yourself sleeping peacefully, chest rising and falling with each precious breath.

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly if you could see yourself tenderly wiping the tear from the face of your son or daughter; when you’re hugging and holding your little ones tight; when you’re peacefully tucking them into bed at night.

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly if you could see how your husband or partner looks at you with wonder and love simply because you exude beauty; because you give love unconditionally.

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly if you could see yourself gently caring for an elderly parent; listening to them patiently every time they tell the same story as the day before because they don’t remember telling it.

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly if you could see yourself reading your favourite book with your face aglow with excitement for a plot so riveting you just can’t put it down.

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly if you could see yourself smiling and laughing at a good joke.

You wouldn’t call yourself ugly when you are happy because there is no mirror in front of your face during any of these moments. These moments are captured in the eyes, hearts and minds of those watching you, so take their word for it when others tell you, you are beautiful. They know what they are talking about! That’s how you know you are beautiful!

Be Pretty, Plus and Proud and always know you are beautiful in every moment you live, in every breath you take and in every way you touch those around you!
